It can be very inspiring and exciting to see work come into being that would never have existed without a clients input.  Here I’ll share some of the projects I’ve taken on professionally or for friends.  It always warms my heart to see my work hanging in place, and I’m so honored by the interest in my work that these lovely people have shown.

Three Large Watercolor, natural pigment, and gouache paintings for a client in California

I’m so grateful for this project; it pushed me in lots of ways as the client was interested in both fractal and experimental geometry, and traditional methodology. We cycled through a variety of design ideas, color palates, and scales. Initially we agreed to pursue a gothic inspired design executed in ochres, earth tones, and with a blue compliment. As the project developed, we incorporated fractal geometry, Saudi inspired patterns, and  arrangements of Saudi architectural features, as I was currently obsessed with them. The client was very supportive of this direction.  The results are unique for me and I’m very happy with the final look.
